MOVING ON

The plan was three days at Painted Rocks State Park for some alone time.   After two days, it was just too cold.

So, we packed up and moved on to Yuma.  Yuma seems to have the best winter weather in the Southwest.  We like Yuma.  We like the fact that we can park out in the desert but still be close to the city.  We know Yuma.  We know where to find the things we need.

Our friends Jack and Bianca, who we met in our park in British Columbia two years ago, spend part of their winter in La Quinta, California.  They have come over to Yuma to visit us for a few days.  These are the first of our northern friends to find us in the south.  Feels very strange to greet them in our winter habitat.  We are introducing them to some of our full timing friends before they leave.

First night we took them to Lins Buffet which seems to have developed into a custom with our rving family.  People arrive from here and there and off we got to Lins.  And why not?  It's amazing.

There are a lot of things to do and see around Yuma.  We could not decide what to do so we took them to the 99cent Store.  They hadn't been before and seemed to enjoy themselves.  Jack told me I should go find Bianca and haul her away or we would be there all day.

Last night I made dinner.  Tonight Bianca will make dinner.

Typical Rvers dinner is not complete without wine, ice cream and of course, good friends.
After supper we were treated to a wonderful Arizona sunset.
