THE AMAZING RACE

In my other position in the park, as park host, I keep the campers entertained.  Previous park hosts here have done the usual;  crafts, scavenger hunts etc.  Not me.  We do have scavenger hunts from time to time but we have three or four big events every summer.

This weekend we ran The Amazing Race.  Doug and I are big fans of the tv show.  (actually we haven't seen it for a good long time as we don't have tv).

I set up seven stations around the park and we have ten teams made up of one parent and as many kids as they want.  We take it very seriously and everyone loves it.

Here are a few pictures from this weekend's event.

Go go, guys.

And the winners are...

It's so nice to see someone do something different. Looks like a lot of fun.

Doesn't surprise me at all that you have lots of good times for all your campers. You are an expert at such things.
