MONCK PARK 2014 - Sports Day and Family Visits

Once again I have managed to wear myself completely out.

Thursday our son Jason, his wife Michelle, daughter Sophie and Sophie's friend Rylee came for a 3 day visit.  They had the site next to us so lots of visiting was easy.

Jason painted the door with chalkboard paint.  Michelle added the artwork.  Cool!
The following day, our son Graeme drove up and tented on our site.

We all went out to Boston Pizza for dinner.  We were joined by Jason's friends, Kris and Kris.

On the Saturday afternoon, we held our last official activity of the year, Sports Day in the Park.  The weather was perfect this year.  It's usually very very hot.  Overcast was great.

Some were very little
The really exhausting part was Sunday.  I made an English Sunday dinner for seven, in our rig, like everyone in the rig, at the table.  Roast beef, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and dessert.

Monday everyone headed home.  It won't be long until we are finished at Monck for the season and we will see them all again before we head east and then south.

Saying Goodbye

More goodbyes
Hey full-timer friends, we have met some more.  We are hoping to be able to have them join up with us in the South this winter.  Meet Steve and Dianne.  They have a big big rig and a big big hauler.   They blog under Living the Dream.

Deer in the headlights - love it. You're going to need to go south so you can relax and enjoy.

What a wonderful family adventure. I'm not surprised at all about the family dinner. You should open a restaurant.

It certainly is great fun when the family can get together. Just think summer is almost behind you.
