After leaving Oak Harbor, Washington, we met up with good friends, Jeri and Terry.
Jeri and Terry showed us the way to a little park on the Columbia River that several of our friends have stayed at. However, things weren't exactly hospitable. County Line Park was full, to the brim, with hunters. Guns everywhere and campers occupying more than their own sites. We squeezed in.
The next day, Doug and I set out to find a Home Depot so that we could buy a new generator. We eventually, found Home Depot but our GPS was not working and we ended up on the other side of Portland. We met Jeri and Terry for dinner in Kelso and set out, after dark, for the campground. Oops, even though we had been given explicit instructions from Jeri and Terry, again we were horribly lost.
This morning we crossed the bridge into Oregon and came to one of our favorite state parks on the Oregon coast. We are at Nehalem State Park. Tomorrow we meet up with Jeri and Terry in Lincoln City for a few days.
Our camera continues to shine. Enjoy!

I think that campground is hard to find even in the day time let alone in the dark. Glad you moved down the road a bit.
We loved Nehalem State Park. The people were wonderful and the location is great.
