LINCOLN CITY

We have been happily boondocking at The Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City since Wednesday.  The Williams arrived shortly before us and found a good spot, but we found one not far from them too.  We can see them out our window.
It's always easy to find them with two kayaks on the roof of their jeep!

The first night we ate at the buffet in the casino.  Seniors $29.95 for two both.  And it was really good.

We tried our hand at the slots for a little while and left even.  We really don't find the slot machines as exciting as the old manual ones.  I used to play Blackjack but I have lost my confidence.

We are still recovering from our time in the LOO - Land of Obligations - and have been resting.  We rented movies and lazed around.

Friday, we all drove down to Depoe Bay for clam chowder.  It isn't what it used to be.  We walked around a bit and took some photos.

Ms. Jeri has a good news/bad news story but I will let her share that.

Today we will celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with turkey and all the trimmings.  We are happy to be sharing with such good friends.

Nice to have international friends so you get to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving AND U.S. Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for--including the end of those obligations. :)
