LIFE GOES ON

While we are both still pretty sad, life does go on.  We are doing our best.  Doug is pretty lost without his morning walk and his putting the dog to bed routine.  But everyday is a little better than the one before.

We have had crazy weather here.  I have to apologize.  I use Doug's computer in the rig because he has a WiFi booster and most times I can pick up the WiFi from either the gatehouse or across the lake at the resort.  So I have uploaded the pictures from the past few days on his computer and I am posting this from mine.  Mostly I just wanted to get a new post up so that I don't have to look at the sad one. :(

We had a huge windstorm in the park.  That's not an unusual thing for here but look what it brought down.

The next day we woke up to snow.  The hills on the other side of the lake looked like ski hills.  By mid-afternoon, the snow was all gone.  The weather man is predicting 25*C (77*F) for tomorrow.  Hope, hope, hope.

We have all the staff in place.  We need campers now.  Perhaps with the weather this weekend, we will see some.  And then the work will begin.  We are ready.

Time does help but there is always still a hole in our hearts. Hopefully you'll have lots of campers this week-end because staying busy keeps the mine off of the sadness. No snow down this way. Thank goodness.

Isn't the weather this year just crazy?! Our friends in Indiana...one state away...had snow today. It is May 2 for goodness sake. We will try to send some of our warm weather your way.

It so hard to lose a family member. Our hearts are definitely with you. We're expecting weather in the 80's here this weekend and for the next ten days. Hope you get some of it.

Sorry to hear about your lose. It just takes time to get past it. Keeping busy will help too so bring on the campers!
