We came back to the wildlife refuge and although there were sites available, we would take a place along the fence. That way if we have annoyed any officials about being here longer than the eight day limit, we were at least being fair to let others have the actual sites.
We stayed right here when we were here the first time.

The promised hot weather has arrived. Today's lunch, outside, Cobb salad. Yummy.

We saw a fire with big flames on the other side of the river the other day. We wondered if it was a controlled burn too. However, yesterday it was blazing again.
Every time I see a fire, controlled or not, I think of the big fires here in Texas. They are all caused by too dry ground...so sad.
Glad it as a controlled burn and not a response to a fire. Definitely warm especially for March.
