THE HEAT - Oh, the heat!

Red is the colour of this blog because that's how it is outside.  Hot, hot, hot.

It's not possible to take a picture of heat but it's close to 40* Celsius.  Convert that to Fahrenheit by doubling it and adding 30.   40 x 2 = 80 + 30 = 110*
The crayons are melting, the campers are in the freezing cold lake and Doug and I are inside in the air conditioning watching movies.  We try to cook only on the BBQ and we have been drinking buckets and buckets of water.

So, are we complaining?  Yeah, we are.  There has to be a compromise.  Something about 25*C which would be 80*.  Is that so much to ask?

You are with the majority of the USA as far as the temp goes. Very hot all over. Where it is coming from who knows!

After 3 weeks of mostly plus 100 degree weather it is finally cooling down here in Kentucky. Not soon enough for the farmers though. I fear their feed corn is not going to be very good this year. It's been too hot with no rain for too long for the ears to form. We didn't have the advantage of staying inside, because we were working the amusement park. People still came in all that heat!

Upper 90's here again today. But we're supposed to be in the 80's next week and I can hardly wait. Actually looking forward to winter - in AZ that is.
