After living four months in what we feel is summer, we have gone back a season. In Southern Arizona it is hot, sunny and dry. Here in the Vancouver area it is early spring. Yes, it was raining but everything is so GREEN. The plum and cherry trees are in full bloom as are the rhododendron and azalea. Gardens are full of daffodils, tulips and crocuses. Coming from Arizona with it's wide open flat spaces, British Columbia seems close. The trees! The mountains!
A truck stop northeast Oregon |
We are here for 2 weeks. We will make every trip in the truck worthwhile as gas is the equilavent to $5.04 a gallon.
Out the door, ponds with ducks and goats in the field next door |

WOW...sounds like a lovely place. We have never really paid attention to Day's End but will look to see what might be in our area in Ohio. Thanks for the tip.

I love Days End - use it all the time when we are traveling. But we sure haven't found such a great place as you've got there.
I would be lying if I said I didn't miss the seasons changing somewhat. It was good to see the Desert wake up and this park has beautiful plants and awesome roses, but those blossoming trees are great! Enjoy!
