Last night we entertained, I hope we did anyhow, our new good friends Sue and Doug. Sue and Doug are counting down on a three year plan for "full time ship". We love to share our experiences with them.

I made hot artichoke and spinach dip with tortilla chips, Caesar salad and pizza. For dessert a selection of my Christmas goodies; butter tarts, shortbread and turtles.

In our past life we always held off doing any kind of Christmas decorating until after Graeme's birthday (December 16th) but Graeme is grown now and we were having company so I "festived" up our little house. No outside decorations though what with us gearing up to leave at the end of the month.

I remember the Casa Grande decorations from last year. Darling tree for this year and love your Christmas plates too. You've got about two weeks to celebrate. Then, it'll be on the road you go. I certainly hope the snow holds off.
We left our Christmas dishes with the kid and he and Michaela actually use them. Glad you got to see Sue and Doug again. Almost time for both of us to head out. I can hardly wait.
Your table was beautiful! The decoration are lovely also. And I am sure you two were perfect hosts!
thanks again for the hospitality!!..yet another evening filled with great food and company!!
I miss having you cook for our group. Wish I could join you all in January.
