LUNCH WITH FRIENDS

Today we had lunch at the home of Escapee friends Sheila and Ray.  We first met Sheila and Ray at Jojoba Hills, an Escapee park near Temecula, California.  Turns out they lived about 10 minutes from us when we lived in Langley.  They still have their condominium in the Murrayville area of Langley.

Sheila and Ray introduced us to their Escapee friends Judy and Terry at a rally in the desert at Why, Arizona.  Since then we have met up with both couples several times both here and away.

Sheila and Ray invited Judy and Terry to lunch as well.  Sheila had said the lunch would be a simple affair.  Lovely lunch of quiche, Greek salad, and bread.  Dessert was ice cream with strawberries and shortbread cookies.

After lunch we all played Pegs and Jokers, a game Doug and I learned at another Escapee park, Park Sierra which is north of Fresno in California.

Judy and Terry recently adopted a dog from a shelter.  What a charmer.  His name is Spanky!

We had a fun day.

It's always fun to get with friends. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up with you again ... on the road.
