It's Almost 8:00 pm and no Rain - Just Wind

Well it hasn't rained yet today but the wind.  Holy cow.  On the way to the laundry room today, I heard a huge snap and I saw a bough fall and barely missed a motorhome.

A pretty simple day (we are trying to pace our activities) of shopping for granddaughter Sophie's birthday.  She's going to be three already!!  It's also son Jason's birthday.  I can't believe he is going to be 40 tomorrow.  How's that possible?  I can't be old enough to have a 40 year old son.

Somehow while we were gone Vancouver became a huge city.  Man oh man, it was noon and the freeway was full.  Bumper to bumper.  This picture was taken in Walnut Grove which is about 1/2 hour out of the city.

The snow line on the mountains is coming down.  Please let it stay up there.  It's pretty but it's cold.
