Changes of Plans - Good and Bad

First and foremost.  We had bad news today.  Our friend Terry went to Phoenix today for some tests and the results were not good.  We are so sorry to hear that.  Jeri and Terry will be heading to Washington sooner than they expected.  It might mean that we will get to see them sooner.

The weather here in Tillamook is awful.  Occasionally the rain stops, but not for long.  We tried to wait for it to stop before we did some exploring.  Doug wanted to run up to Cape Lookout and Bayocean.  We went anyhow.   Even in the rain, the scenery is spectacular.  We drove to Cape Meares and walked to the lighthouse and the Octopus Tree.

I've been wanting to use the rv'er term, shunpiking for a while.  That's what we were doing today.  The roads were narrow and bumpy but we persevered and it was worth it.  The story of Bayocean is an interesting one.  We drove out the jetty to have a look.  Not much to see on a stormy day.

Our change of plans is that when we leave here tomorrow, we are going to go to Aberdeen for two nights to visit the Walmart there and then visit our last SKP camp for a while at Chimacum, Washington.  We investigated and the cost of the ferry from Port Townsend to Coupeville is offset by what we will save staying at the SKP camp.  Then it will be one night at the parking lot at Camping World before we cross the border.

Good night all.  Hugs Terry.
