We had a well deserved day off today.
We started the day with a drive around Salton City doing what Doug likes to call "poking around".
I found it depressing. There are so many brand new houses just sitting empty. Looks like they have been that way for a couple of years. There are also houses that are framed, some wired and some with a few windows, that have been left.
We are leaving for points north in the morning so I did some laundry. (Yes, Jeri, you were right I love the Purex 3-in-1 sheets now).
We know that we are not going to have good weather as we travel north but hey, we can't fly, can we?
